About us
We’re Dakka.Games, a small team with big dreams. Each of us is on a mission to carve our names into the history of tabletop games. This project? A theocracy of mutated puppeteers in pursuit of peace - at all costs. As a nation, the Shinsei Empire is shaped by a real possibility of life eternal
As a nation, the Shinsei Empire is shaped by a real possibility of life eternal. Its citizens spend years untethering themselves from mortal attachments and learning to rein their emotions in.
The culmination of this spiritual journey is a ritual; they willingly invite aether entities to possess them. A lack of fears and desires for the spirits to take advantage of makes it easier to overpower and absorb them, becoming Incorruptible. Those who fail have their bodies transformed into eldritch monstrosities that become the bulk of the Shinsei army.
While they rarely concern themselves with the affairs of the galaxy at large, the ongoing conflict threatens to plunge it into chaos and threaten their independence.
Shinsei Empire
A high-tech galactic commonwealth whose enslaved god can no longer power the engines of its industry and warfare.
The Technocracy is at the forefront of technological advancements. And yet its position as a galactic superpower became precarious when the seemingly never-ending supply of aether provided by their imprisoned god started to run dry.
The ruling technomancers are ready to gamble with their limited resources to avoid Technocracy's imminent destruction.
It means expanding the harvesting operations and taking what rightfully belongs to them from lesser nations - aided by an army of automatons.
Technocracy of Yuessia
Raider shamans and beastmasters seeking to protect their desert home - and rise to the top of the galactic food chain.
The warring raider clans of Oasis, former slaves of a now-obliterated criminal syndicate, were united by their gods-in-flesh. A group of magisters who had shapeshifted into creatures resembling the deities of Oasis now steers it towards a brighter future.
Their motives are uncertain, but one thing is evident: they have taught their devotees a great deal about aether and turning desert creatures into megafauna mounts.
This knowledge is now weaponised against intruders seeking to add the aether-rich planet to its list of conquests - and raiders' own targets.
